Abstract

The incidence of food allergy is increasing in the worldwide and also in our country. Cow’s milk and eggs are the most common foods that cause allergy in children. Cow’s milk allergy can be classified as IgE mediated, non-IgE mediated and mixed type reactions. However, in clinical practice, type of immunologic reactions cannot be easily classified just based on history and clinical findings. In this article approach to a child with cow’s milk allergy is reviewed based on the current knowledge in this field.
