Abstract
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a brain tumor that occurs in adults. It is one of the most common malignancies in the world and its incidence is increasing every year. Patients with GBM have a poor prognosis and treatment is largely based on the recurrence rate. In this review, we examine therapeutic modalities against GBM using genetically modified mouse models, which play an important role in cancer research.
